About Us

The Election Night Integrity Project is a project of Data for Progress and VoteAmerica.

The ENIP seeks to be a neutral source of information, and displays data as delivered to us by the AP and other data sources.

This project is run by Charlotte Swasey, the VP of Data and Polling at Data for Progress, with assistance from Jason Katz Brown, CTO of Data for Progress, Joe Kent, Jason Ganz, Luke Kastel, Ben "Fuzzy" Weissmann, Ryan O'Donnell, Matteo Banerjee, Patrick Higgins, and Nick Catalano.

Our Mission

We hope to be a model of responsible reporting and visualization during the 2020 general election. Our dashboard has been put together with feedback from professionals with experience running reporting for campaigns, PACs, and other organizations, and is set up to provide what we believe is the most useful information for folks trying to understand election season. We are not a forecasting tool, and any analysis that requires official results should look to Secretary of State pages for the certified results as released by states.
